iFood is a food delivery tech company. The project delivered was built to meet the needs of groceries network managers.
The designed interface displays details of the store's catalog performance in the app, highlighting the conversion funnel, conversion rankings by item, and by department.
User
+80k delivery managers of groceries, pet and pharmacy partners.
Partners depend on executive team to get catalog performance data.
Goals
Increase access to the portal for groceries network managers and reduce work of executive team.
The discovery had as its starting point the research inputs and usability tests carried out previously, as well as the Jobs To be done (JTBDs) research carried out for menu indicators in the restaurant business unit.
Context of the problem to be solved with the evolution of catalog indicators.
The information was then taken to the executive team, which works directly with the partner. In the dynamics carried out, the executives, together with the PDs and PM, sought to answer the following question: "What do we consider relevant to the partner in relation to catalog conversion indicators?". Along with the needs of the partners, the participants in the dynamic brought the reason why they consider that need relevant.
Proposals brought up in the dynamics with the executives who serve the ΚΑ.
The most relevant needs were taken to a second dynamic with the development team, PDs and PM. After receiving the same context given to the executives, the team was able to vote on the needs they considered most relevant to the partners.
Voting on the needs highlighted by executives.
Then, we ideate the solution running a crazy 8's with everyone in the squad participating. Crazy 8's is a quick dynamic that challenges people to sketch eight different ideas in eight minutes. The goal is to surpass your first idea, often the least innovative, and generate a wide variety of solutions to your challenge. The solutions were then voted on, so that those with the highest number of votes served as a basis for ideation.
To explore the different solution possibilities, a wireframe was created comprising the ideas arising from crazy 8's.
Wireframe assembled with the aim of exploring solution possibilities.
The hand off on Figma used the components from iFood's design system. The prototypes were available on both Desktop and Mobile, with empty states and content changing depending on the business type of the merchant user.
